SG are pleased to announce that our FCSA accreditation has been renewed for another year

Who are the FCSA?

The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) is the UK’s leading membership body, that’s dedicated to raising standards, and promoting supply chain compliance for the temporary labour market.

Why are they important to contractor service providers?

When a contractor or freelancer service provider is awarded FCSA accreditation, it means that they’ve been recognised as the industry’s compliance gold standard. To be awarded accreditation a company must go through rigorous and stringent annual assessments, which are carried out independently by nationally renowned professional service firms.

FCSA accreditation is awarded to Umbrella Companies, Limited Company advisors, and self-employed / CIS contractor providers that demonstrate the highest standards in industry.

What does it mean to be FCSA accredited?

Having FCSA accreditation provides clients and employees with the assurance that our practices and business are fully compliant and transparent. It allows new clients to sort the reliable Umbrella Companies and Limited Company contractor accountancies apart from those who operate untrustworthy practices, such as tax evasion. It allows contractors the safety and reassurance that the service provider they’re using is 100% compliant, and will keep them on the right side of legislation.

What will SG Accounting be doing to support contractors in the future?

Being FCSA accredited shows our clients and the rest of the industry the high level of professionalism and compliance which we operate at, and the standard we offer. Being FCSA accredited means we’re operating at the level expected of us, and we strive to continue at nothing less. We’re proud to once again be FCSA accredited, along with our company brand, SG Umbrella.
